Templeton Sewer Department
BILLING RATES
Rates effective July 01, 2009

As voted at the Annual Town Meeting May 2009 the Sewer Department is now responsible for the Billing and Collections for the Town Sewer Users.
Sewer Billing is now done on an Equivalent Dwelling Unit basis and not gallons.
An informational letter was sent out with the first cycle sewer bills on 9-1-09 explaining how these rates were set.
The Board of Sewer Commissioners also met jointly with the Board of Selectmen on Monday, September 14th to discuss this change and answer any questions they had.

BILLING RATES

$400 yearly charge for a single equivalent dwelling unit.
This is billed out quarterly, with payments due within 30 days of the billing date.

The FY2010 billing cycle is as follows:
September 1st, November 1st, February 1st and May 1st

FY2011 forward you will receive bills August 1st, November 1st, February 1st and May 1st.

Wastewater Treatment Plant Hauler Rates
Revised July 1, 2008

In-Town Septage: .0625 per thousand gallons

Out of Town Septage: .10 per thousand gallons

In-Town Biosludge: .10 per thousand gallons

Wastewater Treatment Plant is only accepting septage from town, bordering towns, Westminster & Ashburnham.

SEWER DEPARTMENT FEES AND RATES

Sewer Inspection Fee: $62.50

Sewer Tap: $112.50

Sewer Connection Fee: $12,000.00
