Templeton Sewer Department
BILLING RATES
RATES EFFECTIVE AUGUST 2, 2010

The Sewer Department is reverting to billing you by gallons used, instead of the edu system we used for the last year.
At the August Sewer Commissioner's meeting the rates were set as follows:

• $300.00 minimum annual charge billed quarterly @8,750 gallons (based on up to 35,000 gallons).
• $5.43 per 1000 gallons for 35,001 to 60,000, and $6.79 per 1000 gallons for over 60,000.

This reflects a 10% increase. The sewer only rates will remain at $390.64, annually.
We will still be billing quarterly but will be back on the same cycle as the Water Department; March, June, September and December. Your water and sewer bills will continue to be billed separately and paid separately. Both departments will be using the same meter readings to develop their bills, which will save money as we will only be reading meters once.
Remember your sewer bill is paid at the Sewer and WWTF Plant located at 33 Reservoir Street, and your water bill is paid at the Templeton Light and Water Plant located at 86 Bridge Street, which are both in Baldwinville.

Effective the 1st quarter billing cycle (Shown on September bills)

Step 1 $300.00 Minimum Annual charge, billed quarterly @ $75.00 (Based up to 35,000 gallons) (Quarterly @ 8,750 gallons)

Step 2 $ 5.43 per 1000 gallons for 35,001 to 60,000 gallons (Quarterly @ 8,751-15,000 gallons)

Step 3 $6.79 per 1000 gallons for over 60,000 gallons (Quarterly over 15,001)

Rates for Sewer User only $390.64 a year, billed quarterly @ $97.66

Meters are read by the Templeton Water Department 4 times each year (March, June, September, December)

Wastewater Treatment Plant Hauler Rates

In-Town Septage: .0625 per thousand gallons

Out of Town Septage: .10 per thousand gallons

In-Town Biosludge: .10 per thousand gallons

Wastewater Treatment Plant is only accepting septage from town, bordering towns, Westminster & Ashburnham.

SEWER DEPARTMENT FEES AND RATES

Sewer Inspection Fee: $100.00

Sewer Tap: $112.50

Sewer Connection Fee: $12,000.00
