PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARY ELECTION—Tuesday, March 6, 2012—7:00a.m. --8:00 p.m.
Last day to register to vote is Wed. February 15th, you may register on that day at the clerk’s office from 7:30a.m. to 8:00p.m.

ANNUAL TOWN ELECTION—Monday, May 7, 2012—11:00a.m. --7:00 p.m.
Nominations papers will be available from Feb 21st –March 15th. Last day to register to vote is Tues. April 17th, you may register on that day at the clerk’s office from 7:30a.m. to 8:00p.m.

ANNUAL TOWN & SPECIAL TOWN MEETING—Tuesday, May 15, 2012 @ 7:00 p.m.
Last day to register to vote is Tues. April 17th, you may register on that day at the clerk’s office from 7:30a.m. to 8:00p.m.

STATE PRIMARY ELECTION—Thursday, September 6, 2012--7:00a.m.—8:00p.m.
Last day to register to vote is Fri. August 17th, you may register on that day at the clerk’s office from 7:30a.m. to 8:00p.m.

STATE ELECTION—Tuesday, November 6, 2012--7:00a.m.—8:00p.m.
Last day to register to vote is Wed. October 17th, you may register on that day at the clerk’s office from 7:30a.m. to 8:00p.m.

You may apply for an absentee ballot if you are unable to vote at the polls on election day due to:

absence from Templeton during the hours the polls are open

physical disability preventing you from going to the polling place

religious belief

All applications for absentee ballots must be received in writing no later than 12 noon of the day before the election. Applications must be mailed or hand delivered to the Town Clerk's Office.

All Elections & Town Meetings are held at Narragansett Regional Middle School 460 Baldwinville Rd. Our polling place is in the Middle School Gymnasium.
