The Templeton Planning Board has signed a contract with the MRPC to update the town's Master Plan. The Master Plan will include the following chapters: Open Space, Transportation and Housing. Each chapter will have a public forum. The town is encouraging as much public support as possible as a Master Plan is better constructed with input from the townspeople.

The MRPC has distributed a draft proposal of recommendations in regards to the transportation element of the master plan. This document is available for review at the planning office.

The Master Plan will give the town a twenty year plan on the future development of Open Space, Transportation and Housing.

Public input is important in the development of a Master Plan and we want hear from you in regards to comments, input and in general what you feel should be in a Master Plan.
